How it goes:
In every chaotic/group battle higer lvl's say others not to hit mages. Why? It's very simple. Mages can hit all oponents without waiting their turns.
Let's say u hit mage 1 time. He will get a shot and will hit other without hiting u (usually warriors are their victims). You will hit that mage again and he will hit other guy again.
That guy can't hit mage because the turn is not for him. And it goes for 3-4 rounds till warriors die.
Damage:
lower lvl hit's mage for 1-10 dmg.
Mage hits 20-100+ (it depends from lvl)
P.S.:
All mages are scared warriors with criticals
All warriors are scared dodgers (warrior with lot's of agility)
All dodgers are scared mages
It's like a closed circuit...

if u , being not the strongest mage in a team hit other mage of higher lvl or same level as you they, if they have some clues about tactics of the group fight will not hit back you, because you are a small fish.. they will block your hit, but will use magic over the strongest player in your team. that way they will eliminate the strongest player in your team, who told u "don't hit".and after that there is no other barriers for the win and u'll be killed too.. it's just a matter of time. they ask u to do that so only they fight. in that case if someone uses magic on your strongest teammate, your teammate can reply with MAXIMUM damage possible coming from your team.

Team tactics:
The teams get divided. There are high, middle and low levels. From the standpoint of team succes, each member should at least strive not to cause harm to his comrades.
The most versatile are mages: their damage is severe, armor and HP are good and they can attack a target of their choice.
Fighters with high intuition and crit. sets can inflict heavy damage. A higher level crit. fighter can devastate anyone of lower levels. However, they die before the mages of their own level ( in majority of cases).
"Dodgers" can be a challenge to the critical fighters, but against mages they are outright cannon fodder.
High level mages should set killing enemy high level mages as # 1 priority. For that, they block attacks from everyone - if possible, not from enemy high level mages - and strike higher level mages.
Middle and low level mages block everyone except enemy high ( and middle for low lvl mages) level mages and hit enemy high level mages. Preferably, they block fighters and should not hit at all if ordered to stop by high levels.
High level fighters should hit enemy mages with low anti-crit stats. If enemy mages are well armored, they should wait till their high level mages die and then hit. At the meantime, they kill enemy crit. fighters - possible danger for friendly mages.
Middle and lower level crit. fighters should wait or fight enemy warriors. They should only hit enemy mages when all mages and high level crit. fighters are dead.
Dodgers - DO NOT HIT MAGES UNLESS YOU ARE THE LAST SURVIVING! Fight enemy fighters - preferably killing off enemy crit. fighters. Essentialy, you are the weakest in the team.
Enemy target priority (to be used by mages):
- Extremely strong characters (with strong Russian equipment/artifacts).
- Enemy high level mages.
- Enemy high level crit fighters with best possible set for their level.
- Enemy middle level mages.
- Enemy high level crit. fighters with less-than-best set.
- Enemy low level mages.
- Enemy middle level crit. fighters.
- Enemy high level dodgers.
- Enemy low level crit. fighters.
- Enemy middle level dodgers.
- Enemy low level dodgers.
- Enemy unarmed characters.
For fighters, it is the same with exception that crit. fighters should not hit mages of their level or above. Dodgers should not hit mages unless they are the last surviving.
In most cases, the the victory results from the higher number of high level mages on the your side and the lower number of noobs who do not listen to the "DO NOT HIT" on the enemy side.
In many cases, 1 ignorant noob can cause defeat of an overwhelmingly stronger team.
