Just an additional comment here. Many people say, but if I don't hit then I don't get experience. This is true, but many higher level characters will, once victory is assured, let the lower level characters step in and hit (and in a number of instances stop attacking) so the lower level people can get as many hits as they can.

Most important though is that if your team loses, you get no exp, no matter how many hits you made.
