We can not predict who you will face in chaotic: fire, earth or air mage.

Personally, I dont take the guess of what mage i am going to be against.
So i have important maneuvers and less important maneuvers,
For example in fights vs warriors i use wipe sweat, but when a mage is there i replace it by shadow ****. If there's 2 mages i replace my Reveal tactics by shadow ****.
I dont remember seeing more than 2 mages in a lvl8 chaotic, so that is enough for me.

So what Im trying to say is that u should take protection against mages as a first plan, cause they can kill u without u touching them if u dont get protected, so just plan some maneuvers that are less important than others to be ready to change them for protection against mages maneuvers.
