In what realistic..logical.. way can a player get a dodge manuever from a mage? Its stupid enough that mages have no counter for the Manuever "Shock" but now for some strange ilogical reason..fighting a warrior 1 on 1 (me being mage) they seem to get the dodge stat:
01:15 [Spoon] private [ point dexter jr ] When i hit a mage, it always randomly either gives a block manuever, a parry or a counter.
Something needs to be done about this..becuase there is no current counter maneuver for the manuever shock.. and the one reported manuever to counter it is bugged.
dont u ever heard "mage kills dodger, dodger kills critters, critter kills mage"..
now shut up!!!! and swallow "perfectly balanced" game playing!!! slowly!!!!

I am not quiet sure,but imagine a mage shoots for you and you manage to jump away from it (as a realistic scene), this should be dodged and I think every attack from any fighter can be dodged so why not mages? As a mage it quiet easy to fight as you have many ways to choose one fighter you wanna kill from a group to make sure the best player from your opponents dies.The really only way is the shock maneuver and thats also only possible for chars that can dodge.For tanks its not an option. For criters with few hp,same as dodger,its the only way to survive a bit, so I think its ok that there is no counter for that.
I think he means why critter or even siege o_O can get counter-strike point when he HITS mage. And this counter-strike point is needed for imba shock maneuver. Am I right?

its underdstanable in Chaots... but trying fighting some one 1 on 1 and being shocked twice :) not being able to use any manuever and just sit there like a peice of meat (again, not chaot 1 on 1)
People with mage problems need to learn how to direct their players.. learn from the players from back in the OB mage days :)

I think usually hitting mage works like he skips his turn. That is the reason why we sometimes get block or counter-strike tactics.
1 more thing: wouldn't it be more logical that a dodger to dodge more spell-casts than a critter? cause as i remember this is not the case in NC!
Point, for some reason we parry hits sometimes. Even though we've no parry.
