Fights with 2 weapons are not so long as with shields. No problem, create chaotic with comment 7lvl with shields :ok: but... anyone join?

the point is the game gets single-eged.. just like with wood. what about claws if the proble is the 3spot block?

The problem is making the fight end faster. With 2 weaps u inflict about 2.5 times more damage in a round coz of
1. more hits
2. less blocks
3. less armour without shield

As for the claws, its ok )

P.S. if u dont want to fight using their rules, fight with ur own rules, but in ur own fight with ur own comment :)

so if everyone is fighting with 2 weapons so we don`t need shields at all.. we could need some new weapons insted of shield! why new items. we only need DS! :ura: long live ds!

Best to obey comments to battle even though you had
no armour behind your shield,the 2 weapons comment
is prefered by the Majority of Lvl [7]'s for the reasons
listed above by Enlightened but mostly speed.This allow's
them to take part in more battles...it seems a shame though
and also a little ironic because the "Infamous=)" and easily
the most popular DS set unlike it's Golden counterpart has
no set bonus without the Shield.
Buy yourself some Armour and leave your comments to
battle open because there are some [7]'s here who have
shields and for whom time is no issue...with a bit of luck
the occasional Mage may show an interest and i know of
one certain young Lady) who'll be [7] soon and freezing
the pants off [7] Lvl and generally giving them a hard time
regardless of Battle comments i hope ;-)
Hopefully there will be more oppertunities to use shields in
Lvl [8]  where "The Quest" for exp has worn off a bit)

and why dont u use shield if u are stronger with `em? and don`t say that its faster - lol

So yes, 2 weapons comment means "not for u!" for any mage.
Basicly that was the reason why I sold my OB set and rearanged my stats for DS in spring 2006 :)

A typical 1on1 fight of 2 DS fighters lasts up to 2-3 min if they have 2 weaps both and 5-10 min if they have a weap and a shield. U can calculate how much time u win fighting 2 weaps urself. As for me, baring in mind that i had at least 12-15 fights a day when striving for lvl8, that made up to an hour a day.

DS fighters largely use doomed boots instead of DS on lvl7, since they gve more crit and this firepower REALLY helps alot in combat especially vs DS fighters. DS boots give just some damage protection and antidodge, the first aint eally of vital importance if u know how to set blocks with a set like this, as for the second, I tried DS boots, but that didnt make gold dodge less.

Yeap your right about the boots,I have noticed that they
make the difference between winning and losing for me in [6]
and yes to make Gold dodge less is/will be a tough mission=)
