It's not so much that it's causing problems, and for you and those with windows 7 OS etc it's easy to play both at the same time but you won't deny that it takes ppls interest away from NC when they play in r.u. and as I said before noone can be blamed for that because of the grim situation in NC... my point is that the more interest shown in r.u. from players of NC then naturally the more interest they will lose in NC as a result... also if we look at the log and see the number of players who have logged into NC during the course of the day then it is actually a fair amount... the trouble is they see few ppl online and log back off again (probably in many cases to go to r.u. instead) if the majority of those stayed online if possible then there would obviously be more ppl online at any given point of the day... I guess that's what Penny was trying to do with his other post about being online at a certain time... it's obvious to me that the best thing that could happen is for admin to open the borders... with no ppl online in NC what other options are there?

Agree with ya pal.Our people in ru are killing the town.I must say I tried it too,but ru is not 10% as interesting as NC, besides that I don`t understand a word :P
If all the people would stay here we would have at least some fights like a few month ago.

Pal,don`t get me wrong.I also have a noob in the ru version and when I am at work I also fight there cause there are no fights in NC anymore.
I also didn`t want to blame you for spending your time on whatever.I just said that almost every NC player has a player in ru now and if you look at them,they are also quiet active.Imagine these players would be online in NC, we could have fights
But you know what I mean.Maybe if we ever get updates our town comes back to live

I have to agree with actually everyone here

NC is experiencing a hard time. Some of the regulars have started to play a mult in RU like me. Still, I am here regularly just to see if the "old folks" are present.

It doesn't take Win7 to be online in both versions actually. I got WinXP and IE 8.0
In IE click Safety --> InPrivate Browsing and *poof* there's a second window which allows you to play both versions at the same time.

This is a sad sight, sort of like finding an old wall with old signs of teenagers who wrote their names hell knows how long and you don't even know if they are alive or not.

Maybe i'm not the most regular player and not the strongest or anything-most, but i've been playing here since summer 2005, and over the years i saw all the ups and downs of this place, but damn, New Capital has never dropped down so much in population, now it's the middle of the day and i'm alone in HoW with the Mercurius bot.

It's really sad to see this project becoming another forgotten internet relic, which isin't updated and looks more like a project of a teenager who lost his interest, than a bussiness project. With proper management and advertising this project could have had many users, probably even given a wealthy income, but sadly, seems like this is pretty much it.

I'm pretty much certain that there are two ways from this deadstop of the city.
One of them is to turn the lights out, create another boring russian town which would bring even more income as it would certainly be popular.
And another - updating it, taking extreme measures to bring back the people. Ofcourse the second choice has all the chances to be unsuccessful like all the previous updates that we went throught, so it is also unlikely.

Anyway, seems it's time to pack my stuff, find another town in the World Wide Web as New Capital will soon have the "For Sale" sign..

Maybe admins don't know how to revive the game, but just feel they shouldn't kill it, and are waiting for a miracle?
