The grass is always greener on the other side, we all wanted updates like R.U. but when you look closer there it's just a big pile of shit... way too far gone... we didn't realise what we had here, they probably looked at us and thought how quaint it might be here... would it have went the same way here if our version had got all the updates they did? probably not so what does that say? if you lock up several thousand of your own people in the same area then it's likely to degenerate into what you see in R.U.

The big gene pool we had in NC is what made our city that bit better, that bit more special, despite the lack of much else... I'd still have made the same choice... RU sucks unless you speak, read and write pukka Russian, not latin substitute... and even then it still sucks, let's be honest... if they'd given us some shitty upgraded dungeons and a little bit more space, thrown in some left over atrefacts from R.U. and reopened TOD we'd have been as happy as pigs in shit... wouldn't we? anyway it all seemed to go further downhill when they disbanded the guilds and so on...

Not much left here now but memories... but good ones for sure ;-)
