Yeah [tippler] is using DS axe + skeleton axe ...and [Tonia] DS rings + earrings + necklace + gloves + bands+ 2 Crutchs...And I found it interesting :) that's why I made this post. To find more ppl.
The injuries may be a problem
That's true =/
no comment...another "i dont wanna pay for good game to help its development" idea... why not...but dont cry that wer not getting any updates...
Me and Past Light made our own like this but you just had normal weapons (like swords, mace's etc ect) Thats if you could wear them without any other items on.
whymeblocked [7] (01.12.07 18:18)
Okay. We can just talk about it and find out new, convenient format of fight for all.
Mb weapon+rings, rings + earrings + necklace + gloves + bands+ Weapon or Just a shield+weapon.
NakoputiPrdel [8] (01.12.07 17:58)
Tired to cry already =)

earrings + necklace + gloves + bands+ Weapon
Not a bad idea. And shield + weapons seems even better

Okay. We'll w8 for some more ppl to find out the convenient format of fight for all of us.
:lick: lovin this idea :lick:
:ok: =))
Milligram > Nice topic =)
If an alternative fight format like this was well thought out and
implemented correctly then there is no reason why it should'nt
be a success. I'd personally like the format to try and replicate
battles of old and by this I mean only 'real' items to be worn in battle,
items that you would have expected to see on an average fighter.
No armour, as only knights, rich individuals and professional soldiers
would have had access to this.
No 'Jewellery' because this would obvioulsy have had no realistic
effect in battle except for 'bling' factor =) If you had to take part in
a battle like this for real then I'd hazard a guess that a sharp weapon,
sturdy shield and something to wear on the head to protect that precious
'grey matter' inside would have given a much more 'feel good' factor about
it than a fancy necklace and your wife's earrings =))) And the enemy might
not laugh at you so much when the lines of battle were drawn. It's true that
it might be difficult or impossible for higher Levels to put on their weapons
without their sets to make up the stats etc but this in itself might persuade those
of them with a little spare CR to generate a little more income in the 2nd hand
shop by buying one or two lower level items that could be worn with bare stats.
This format would also give lower levels a chance to really use their mad hero or
short sword on some feared [8] or [9] warrior without them having the feeling that
they were 'farting against thunder' pardon me and yes, the battles would be bloody =)
It might tempt the inexhaustable hordes of wooden combatants who between them must have a huge array and selection of weapons but who do not have the full sets required to take part in Chaotic or group fights against those who do. It would almost certainly lure the higher Level warrior who is prepared to risk injury and fancies his chances against a lightly armed and uruly rabble of 'Peasant' fighters with his DS sword but without his armour to protect him from 'David' and his mighty sling. TOD fighters may also be attracted to this format as they are all too used to fighting with whatever falls to hand.
If the ppl as a whole were prepared to recognise a format of this type then the 'Inquisitors' would have freedom to control the 'unsporting element' (Jacks) just like they currently operate in the wooden format. This format would also be a suitable method to 'plug the bulge' between wooden and full battles, and would offer ppl a choice between fighting in light (wood) medium (suggested format) and heavy (full) one thing is certain though...it needs to be a recognised format to succeed and the author is not experienced enough to know which precise format would be best and so
a wiser head would have to decide or a majority verdict taken, however he humbly suggests that the format should use the following 'articles'
Don't forget that this format or one not disimilar to it could really work here and
prove very interesting to take part in =)
Suggested Format (needs a name too, the format))
Helmet (any)
Main weapon (any)
2nd weapon or shield (any)
Boots (any)
Belt (any)
Alternatively it could simply be a No Armour - No Jewelllery affair.
it would probably be best to limit the weapons to no higher than [7]
Lvl as mentioned by Enlightened.
Mac Crash, hereby being of sound mind and body has spoken and is ready to be
shot down in flames by pessimists and those who know better.)
:signed: Paw print
P.S. Highlanders are exempt from wearing their Kilts as this would give them
an overwhelmingly unfair advantage in battle and offer far too much distraction to
the female participants of the opposing sides and lead to bad feeling amongst their
Menfolk.
someone make a resume of what mac crash said please!
only problem of Mac Crash's proposal is that....without rings i cant use my weapon!!
me neither:)) and without my weapon i cant use my rings,,, all the things i can take off are : armor, earrings, gloves, belt, that's it for now :)

1. We need more ppl
2. Then we can think what format to use
3. Then we will make a list of ppl who can take a part for this type of fight
Crazy Simba [7], Reborn_s [5]
We can use low lvl weapon or jewelllery to fit in, isnt it? =)
> Mac Crash [7] (03.12.07 04:13)
All this would be nice in RL. But in FC its just a but different story. Mainly it is of armour and modificators)
The core idea of jewelry fights is making the fight real fast. Do do this fighters should have min armor and max mf. For instance, armour and damage protections r mainly a feature of armor\boots\belt\helmet\shield, while MF mostly come from jewewlry.
That's why in jewelry fights only weap + jewelry is used. Less armor - larger hits. More MF - more dodges and crits. In jewelry fight 2-3 succesful hits means death, even 1 crit can be lethal. Fights end real fast. HP can be resored real fast in healing sets, which means u can make 5-7 fights in 2 hours, instead of regular 3
So... Who's in? :)

Thanks for explaining all that and it makes sense to me now.
I can see what you mean now when you talk about the connection
between armour and mf.
