i am gonna try and vote to see if another room can be made so rulebreakers and paladins can talk about there actions without others around

yes but a free version here wouldnt it be better so everyone really has there say instead of silence for discussing pals actions :ok:

this can solve the problems and alot

and when its over the pals might even say sorry :laugh:

1) Most violations will be hold in privat,cause discussing in public is forbidden.
2) If a rule breaker wants to complain he should use the forums complain section anyways.

I dont believe this matter should be taken lightly, this is an important matter for the survival of this city. People ive known in real have came here broke the rules without knowing them and been blocked. One or two of them were really beginning to enjoy the game, upon been blocked they automatically deciding that it was a waste of there time (and money) to continue if been blocked is such an easy opinion. I understand that fraudsters, mass characters and spammers should possibly be blocked but the option and mood of those with the power to block at times is unbelievable.

How many people have you seen who you believe have perhaps been harshly blocked? From the unknown lv0's who perhaps were never introduced/familiarized to the game, or the high level characters who have invested countless hours into there characters. Come on! We all swear from time to time. Ive been involved in sites that have been pro-block and there numbers - more often than not - were low; ive been involved in sites that only blocked if it was absolutely necassary, which was mostly never, and there population grow expedientially. This is Newcapital not the Russian version. The potentials there, the vast majority of people on the internet speak english. Although ive been on the ru version before i understand that customs are different: in Russia you get banned from driving for life if caught, in the western world your given a chance. Thing are situational/circumstancial, debate which is wrong, right, neither or if you dont care ("Russia or whatever county rules! - literally...) but i expect the reason for Newcapitals' creation was to engage this pool and hope it exceeded eg. York as New York did.  

This site must understand that it not only has alot of competition out there; you can predict that one lone character will encourage his friends to come, who themself make friends and bring more people. Blocking someone who is ignorant to the rules is ignorance in itself, as its also blocking any outlet for future characters within the individuals social group to join the city. Any ambigious block should be discussed in open, or character who are publically known for there honesty. This game could be big, its unique and could, one day, equal or possibly surpass its Russian parent if only it learned to adapt to a more liberal gaming platform.

What was it that made the Russian version big?

well said mcdoom,i really think pals should take it easier with the newbies... this game has a lot of potential,it can grow big...

Thanks Thess. I meant drink drinking in Russia by the way (caught drink driving your banned for life, thats harsh) got carried away abit there. This site could grow through word-of-mouth like all online gaming, like the "I love you" virus even. Its easy. But its gonna go no-where if its voice is silenced.

But lengthy silences in fc is a better idea than outright ban.

You're talking generally... Lot's of words... No ideas! Can you give some examples? You think we should let noobs coming from ru and begin swearing? We should let here those noobs that don't agree with speaking english and transform the chat in one flood with Silence Spells? We are making what we can... Teaching them first steps, answering questions and so on. And i tell you.. If somebody like the game is respecting the rules... Those that like the game because they love breaking rules are not welcome!

Its always the same.Bad paladins are destroying the fun of this game.Come on,noone that has never been pal before shouldn`t judge.
Why do you think we have a complaint part? Why do we have a Charitable Fund? Why are we doing this?
That somebody, who might even be your best friend and a really cool dude, gets blocked cause of he has 4 characters playing from the same ip and trading items to each other, sorry, but thats the law in any online game you can find.
Some block automaticly when you enter from the same ip and we pals try to talk to these people at least.
Or another example is that cool girl who everybody liked and you talked with for hours.
Yeah, but she never told you that she wasn`t able to send a passport scan cause she is male.
I mean serious, are you thinking we walk around and are happy to have a block button to play with??Sorry but such words could make me angry.
Same as these rumours from the pal, nobody knows the name from, but is sure he heared that he abused his powers in such a bad way....
I am pal for a while and I can tell you that we have a strict judgement about ourselfs and a pal that got caught will be even more punished than another player.
So don`t tell anything like I saw above.Make a website,do a contest,help newbies,find cheaters,mults,or do anything of worse.Or at least take the time and try to look behind the scene before you open your mouth like that ://///

Pals if u silence sum1 n tell smth like ":idea: Only english in main chat :idea:" its not quarantee that person understands it. 4 example i usuaaly private Azerbaijanian/Russian players n xplain them same thing in their native language. Ppl who register here - usually do not even read the rules, bcz its booring. Some ppl do not even know what is "stage fight", "multichar" etc. Maybe we need bot like advisor which will xplain main things 2 players?

yeah,maybe we need an advisor,coz this game is very different from other other online games and newbies don't know the rules,don't know that only english is allowed,maybe you should take it easier,coz one newbie can bring like 15 more ppl to newcap,or maybe even more... so maybe you should take it easier with them,of course if a newbie starts swearing in russian you can block him right away,coz he surely is a mult from ru or smth...

Sorry if it has sounded bad mouthing the pals, i understand this not a new thing and have great respect for what you are doing for the people in this city. Please dont get me wrong, i had been drinking. But now, especially since the Novice room is closed and the newbies have been thrown into a relatively new environment with lots of brght lights and flashing colours, perhaps silencing spells (possibly lengthy ones is a good idea, there The Rules can be told; via links and just plain old telling them, ascertain the original/language and warn them - more bans will follow, investigations and chaos). Of course i understand that there are  many out there that simply come to swear and make a fool out of themselves. Again, you could silence them and give them an injury. Firestarter/Thess have a good idea there with a bot as continually repeating the rules to newbies maight become abit tedious. Perhaps an area can be created that allows fail/illegal language, like a little rant room. You cant fight here but at least it gives those who know each others language chance to let there emotions fly, possibly like the boudoir. Even a room were there character is locked into - prision - and cannot get out of for a certain period of time. And thats what it is, a matter of time. A person, no matter how foolish they are is not going to continue braking the rules if they are been isolated continually, punished with no access to game play, speech and whatever other ideas can be thought of.

Is there not other ways around certain blocks, such as you said: chars with the same ip. Could all the other chars this character has be blocked without the one that they are currently using? I dont know, its tricky, this is just of the top of my head. Alot of newbies, as in life, will come here wishing to make a name for themselves and push things alittle for the bad guy/girl effect. Of course there are certain things which chars should be blocked for, im not attacking this, and without saying anything that might disrespect the work you do, i just believe there should be a way for pals to monitor eachothers actions at times. Of course theres the forum, but many newbies want know about this till its too late and have no way telling there side of things. Even a magistrates or courthouse piece in the fourm where you vote for or against the character been blocked or not publically... i do understand the difficultys there are involved. Blaming the pals for Newcapital been a shadow of ru version is wrong, and perhaps with the normal changes that will occur over the course of time ill be proven wrong - newcapital will be a 300ppl online site.

If you could could set a bot to repeat to newbies, but even better, to those that just continue to swear: have them silenced (or not) and have the bot set at them or a group, repeating in private the Rules over and over again on 3minute loops. People will be more frightened of the bot then been blocked or chaos'd))
