Most gamers in combats create a character and try to become the best player they can get. Some dream of being a strong mage, or a tank, or a fearless warrior.
Other are pleased with being an average fighter and they prefer to write news, or simply chat with nice people.
What was your goal when you first came here and did you reach it, or are you still working on it?

I was in Fight Club since its founding as a systems administrator and gave the game their free time. After the changes in the club moved to the new capital. In the Russian version was in the clan head of IT but the clan was disbanded
I like the new capital. Sei Roe and villagers welcoming unlike the Russian version

In the beginning my intention was become a strong warrior in NC, gaining exp. as fast as i can & i thought preconcerted fights was the best way but unluckly i was arrested by the young talented detective Ellara =] She asked me what the hell i was doing.That was the million dollar question that i couldn't answer so my unsuccessful deception was resulted in block =]

In my second life -delidumrul- (not a reincarnation) i decided to gave up being a criminal and made a fresh start living within the laws, a good boy =] I become one of the strongest dodger at level 6, 7 and 8.Then a neutral clan -toob- attracted my attention & i wanted to be one of them.You know, one for all & all for one is always better than standing alone.I did but that was a short adventure.I also had the opportunity to meet people from different countries and cultures.For example, Thess's best drink is samogan but justice sword prefers "fresh water" ) Bad moon is a fisherman and has 2 lovely daughters, kingstar is good at playing guitar, most of russians drink alot and they should take care of their health, sara maria is a poet and drinks beck's beer while playing, mac crash is in love, biskot is a rebel, kanaplev is a cheater quad is a noob and penny kicks ass and so on... ))

My third goal was to create a web page in order to register a new neutral guild and enlighten people especially newcomers.Unfortunately our dreams came to naught, hopes melted like snow.Suddenly a mysterious man came into the gym saloon, appeared next to me and told he had been planning to register a guild in NC )) Everything was ready and after few days a wolf head plus neutral sign appeared next to my nick.Yeah i am talking about awakening of wolfpack in NC:) By the time, together we organised our clan, created a website.So, mission accomplished =]

This is my self interpretation, i tasted every taste that could possibly be tasted in NC.Despite having spent most of my web time here i am not regretful.Nowadays, sadly NC is the kind of place hopes touch bottom and people end up living the same day for the rest of their NC life.

Defenetly more.There are these few people here that have a heart of gold and you are one of them. Those players like you are the reason for me and I guess some more to stand through all that and come back to this game day by day.
A lot were gatherd in the mercenaries clan we once were able to share and I hope one day we will have the chance to come back to this.

back in the days,when newcap was thriving,joined cause of munch(monster-muncher)and stupidily got addicted to this donkey kong make up of a game,but safe to say,i wanted to be the best i could be(respected warrior of NC).also wanted to see all aspects of game dark/light etc,i have been in 2 guilds here and moderators dept..to all the ppl i shared guild with (ur my bros)foreverxxx.moderators,well they have some good guys,and some not ever deserving of cross,let alone moderating(crazy world).but thats just the way it is.
My in game ambitions have faultered since(due to lack of admin input and ppl now.i have had basically same set since lvl 8.all i want now is complete new set for my lvl and for the good ppl to return an for aurax to remove his nose from higher authoritys asscheeeks:))

Seems to me, Penny, that a good question like this is worthy of reply,

In the beginning... omg... how we laughed, how we enjoyed and how we spent far too much time here and for our little band of 'Jacobites' (Madbaw, Bad-Moon, Blind Fury, Bandit and Monster-Muncher) there was one major reason for that and that reason's name was Silent Pain[7], (RIP - you are legend) he quickly became our mentor, friend and teacher, he had boundless energy helping us to level up by making wooden group fights and protected us from and outwitted the ever present jackals, he was always there for us and they were great days... he was one of the few guys that could hold his own with Last Kid and give him a hard time in main chat without getting silenced, most of the time anyway because when finally exasperated, Kid would use the Paladins 'interpretation' of the law to shut him up, but only for as long as the SS lasted. It's what I remember anyway.... You, Penny, my friend, were'nt around at that time, you'd gone but your name hadn't, Pain told us about you... "Penny would have murdered them... Penny would have done this.... Penny would have done that... things would be different if only Penny was here....etc, etc, etc"

And so to answer your first question: Mages?, what's a mage? I asked Silent Pain... well, we're all noobs at first aren't we? following a brief explanation of what a mage was (I was level 3, almost 4 at this point) and after hearing Bianconneri and Enlightened (who'd later become my 'father in law') vent their rage and declare how much they hated mages (this only served to heighten the appeal of being a mage) I figured if Mages were so hated then they must be very powerful and so that might be the path to choose... So I announced to Pain that I'd decided to become a Mage and wanted him to show me the way. Unfortunately... upon reaching level 4 (transfers and other possibilities became available) I was unable to realise my path of the mage due to a severe shortage of funds, I'd spent the lot, well, what else were you meant to do with it? A mage needed money to change stats and buy HP items as well as a staff so I was knackered... I had one option, block and start again so that's what I did. (these were the days when level [8] was considered the end of the road.)

Being keen to get started again I said to myself, ach! ... to hell with waiting for the block and just simply made another character (my old character got chaos for an unrelated matter and through time disappeared into obscurity) but by the time I levelled up with this new character somehow becoming a mage had lost all of it's appeal, I now understood exactly how they took their exp and had come across them for myself... being a Scot,...(emotionally and violently attached to alcohol, just kidding) nothing apart from playing here as a warrior was going to do... hurling fireballs, ice or lightening at the foe then skipping your turn while critters lined up to nail you to the wall... nah! better to get in 'aboot' them... my desire to be a mage disolved as quickly as it had come.

As for where I stood concerning Dark, Light, neutrality etc... at first none of it really bothered me to be honest, like alot of people I misunderstood what darkness stood for here like alot of those who actually were dark members... it was easy to dislike the darkness because of the actions of a few...it was easy to misunderstand things... that only comes with experience and time spent if your lucky enough to meet the right people... I was more inclined to neutrality and never wanted to be a Paladin even though my wife was one... best thing I ever did was marry that girl... enough said. I fought on CS on the side of light generally because of that fact, despite having friends from both sides, later I joined a neutral guild - TOoB (happy times)... but turned to darkness when I witnessed scheming and rotteness from a few on the side of light...some were keys and others just desperate, willing to do anything to have a cross, I had seen what a little power and the appeal of power in the wrong hands resulted in and the lies and deceit left a decidedly bad taste... again the same example and lesson, it's as easy to dislike the light side as it is to dislike the dark side because of the actions of a few... I joined GODS and have no regrets but one... that I could have done it earlier when they were in their heyday... but everything is relative and hey... no regrets! One highlight for me at GODS/Killua (relevant to my time) was when after months and months of bitter and often nasty conflict with Recruits Mercenaries Guild we managed to repair our volatile relationship, 'clean' our guilds and subsequently unite against and defeat the Paladins Guild and their helpers on CS.... The day we did that and the day that the supreme Paladin broke his composure and jeered us on CS before getting his ass kicked was the day I knew we'd gotten one over on them!

There's never been a shortage of good people in NC and if we have to name some of them which I believe is considered rude to do so but nonetheless I don't mind being rude where friends are concerned: El Camino and Hernancrespo (my own personal priest) both of whom have never been anything else other than true sporting gentlemen, Pennzoil likewise and friends forever, Thess, one of the most socialable people I've ever met in combats, Last Samurai, gifted me my one and only TOD win... I still remember him turning my private chat blue when I couldn't find the room he was trying to guide me to, Dining room 3 - only thing was that were two rooms with that same name but one was reached by using the hidden stairs leading from another room, and when I eventually got there and collected the full set he'd rather kindly left laying on the floor for me... I attacked him instead of Rhett...let's just say Samurai's speech was very animated that night, I still haven't figured out why attacking him was a mistake and sadly the link which used to list all the TOD tournaments and their winners no longer exists. Las Valgas and Cyjack, no words needed, Medved, Monster912, MCDOOM, Delidumrul, indecently decent guys and intellectually gifted to a fault... Delidumrul, thanks for selling me that wooden stake scroll when I was neutral, that got me into alot of trouble, lol, Oh...and Master Storm, never really knew him but thanks for helping me jump three levels in about five fights

and so what of now? level 10? yes but I genuinely don't see why... we could all say our goal is to make FC a better place for all however that is something that will only happen if we actually have something in place (like a game worth playing) to make that happen and right now we got jack shit... Moderators are the only ones with something to do and that is precious little if there's only going to be a handful of people online... whatever admin do now is anybodys guess but it might be too little too late and that's a shame because FC in NC is one hell of a game...was... or at least it used to be... so goals? yeah, taking what little exp is available with attack scrolls and writing shit like this in forum... and admin! if your listening, spare a thought for those sorry souls with "waiting for TOD" written in their info... meanwhile, the rest of us wait for some semblance of a game to return... cheers! and thanks again for the good old days... more of the same please... but can't help agreeing with you, Delidumrul - after a certain point... we begin living the same 'groundhog' day after day for the rest of our NC lives.

Nice story, really liked it Its a bit like it happend to many of us. A story about good friends, teachers, helping each other and fighting for exp and rights.

My story ain`t that intersting as I had a lot of interviews already and I guess most people are bored of it already.
But on my way to my gym I thought about an answer to my own topic which is short and says all and if I look back to my own story here I must say all I ever wanted is the best for NC and its people. The time I had power here and the time like now when I am a grey noob, it was always one goal, make NC a better place. Still it looks now that its further aways than ever before.
If you want to have a topic about NC, for me, its straight connected to the supreme paladins in NC.
Jetkokos, was a strong one and maybe the best ever.A lot was happening with him. He was here to create NC. I gave us attention and was a big dad for any of us in the beginning.
Penny, was a short story. I managed to get a few good things here like all our guilds, changed some cruel laws and managed to bring the most players online we ever had. Still I wasn`t playing FC long enough and wasn`t paladin long enough to do more than I did as I had a lot missing in my game.
DrWeb, was a good one too. Actually he was very strict,maybe too strict but he did all he could and finally gave up cause he noticed that he can`t do anything without admins help. Still I always had big trouble with him and we had a very cold relationship I always respected him as a person.
Tsatidis, he was one more with a golden heart and besides his experience as a paladin were a bit low, he was a great person and I am happy that I was able to meet him in real life. He also had to see that his dreams and his reasons to come here are connected to admins will and its very sad that he left us the way he did.
Lost in Code, I liked him a lot before he became supreme and I really think hes a great paladin for a deep blue, or silver cross. His attitude as a paladin is great itself and I can`t say anything bad about him besides it looks from outside that he also becomes a pupet of some other pals and hes missing leadership abilitys. Still I am sorry for him to be in the situation he is in now as NC needs him now more than ever before, but he ain`t here to help.

We all know that there will be another supreme one day again and we are looking for who it will be. I hope he will have the right mix of all the people above and will lead his guild to bring back joy to this game. Maybe he understands the power that still is in this game and he can manage to bring back the light to NC.

NC is finished, when will people realise this, imo we dont need another supreme, we have gone through 3 already and nc still in the same shit, what difference will another make?

I don't remember what intentions I had, when I started to play FC. I've never been a strong fighter and I think I will never be one, I don't have strategic thinking I got level 9 only because of people helping me with suggestions. My goal...hmm, never thought about it. I am here, because I feel pleasure talking to people all over the world. FC society (I mean NC) is small, but it has so many good parts of it. Some people, who don't know their purpose of spending time here, can be angry, behave as teens or just be full of negative emotions, but they still bring something special to this city.
So, whatever NC becomes, I will come here over and over again. FC is more than just a random game. It has a heart, in my honest opinion
