My vote is for Billy Connolly aka "The big yin'"
for his ability to reduce an audience to tears,
he's also done several tv series's and you can
easily find his material on you tube, no need for
links, imo a good comedian should be judged by
his or her "I dare not heckle this person" factor.)

I'm also a fan of the UK tv show "Have I got news
for you" I recommend it if your English is fluent,
you won't be disappointed.

The BBC's Alan Patridge comes a close Second
To Connolly, imo and the old tv show "Fawlty or
Faulty towers" starring John Cleese has to rate
as one of the best ever, the people in the show
are comedians by accident, not by design...

Spike Milligan and Rab c Nesbit also deserve a
mention.

MC: Billy is at the top of my list, and "Have I Got News..." is absolutely amazing ))

You should check out "Mock the Week", that is just packed with great comedians, a must-see.

Billy Rocks :super: I aslo enjoy watching Jeff dunham and his puppets and also another great addition to the list would be Russel Peters...
