As the title goes, you can imagine what I'm going to ask)

That was ok-ish, let me log onto combats and give everyone a piece of my critical mind...

Go on, let your literal skills take on you)
To christen this topic off, let's see, I will review Star Wars
TBH, it's a psychadelic pathetic orgasmic???
No, it's okay but to sum up read this.
PROS
-cinematography at that time was "off da hook"
-actors managed through and pulled off some good stunts
-it's a saga, you got more than any other films
CONS
-the scripts are terrible, "luke, i am your father" shut it mate!
-george whatever his name was won't be remaking the golden oldies so it means that we are stuck with the new and old(
Out of 10?
I'd give it a curious 5)
Enjoy :D

Very funny
9/10
28 days later
PROS
- Quite entertaining plot, a lot better than I Am Legend.
- Actors were well choosen.
- The soundtrack was awesome
- The main idea of "infected" roaming UK was shown in quite a unique way.
CONS
- The main characters didin't care any fire-power. IMHO the first thing i would do, i would visit a damn gunshop.
- Not enough "infected" shown, imho, if the whole country would be infected, all the people would be running outside, Jim (Main character) wouldn't feel so "lonely" at the start.
I give it a 9/10 as i love such movies lol
care - carry
P.S I love you

I'd like to recall back this topic. :)
That's the new movies thread, IMHO Star Wars or 28 days later ain't new movies.
Everything that's not discussed can be called as new as we haven''t heard anyones opinions 'bout it. :)
Ohh C'mon, ofcourse we haven't discussed movies which were created on 1923, but only a person who would wake up from a coma which he was in for 85 years, could say that it's a new movie lmao
Everything we haven't heard about ever is something new for us )
Re-review of the Star Wars Saga.
Film Review on Star Wars 3 – Revenge Of The Sith
The plot of Star Wars 3 inevitably leads off from Star Wars 2:Attack of the clones, Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen known as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. The story starts out as a sinister Space War, whilst the war progresses both Jedi’s attempt to rescue Chancellor Palpatine after he is kidnapped by Count Dooku and the droid army led by the ever so famous General Grievous. During the rescue attempt Anakin not only beheads Count Dooku (some say revenge, but Palpatine, being the old nuisance he is, requests so) and also carries Obi-Wan on his back whilst saving the chancellor. Doesn’t it all seem to be glorious? When the glorious 3 return from Death-Land, Palpatine insists that Anakin should be made his personal representative in the Jedi council. The council accepts, but still remains suspicious of the Palpatine’s moves. Padme announces to Anakin that she is pregnant and they will soon be having a little rascal running out and about, that same night however Anakin foresees in his nightmares that Padme dies at childbirth; take in mind that his nightmares seem to always come to life. Couple of days after that ye old Palpatine informs Annie that the Dark Side of the Force has many powers and that is not always the bad side, in-fact in the Dark Side you can even learn to stop the ones you love from dying. Anakin being the intellectual one gets twisted by the Dark Side. The next social gathering Palpie and Annie have seems to be a big one, Palpatine finally announces that he is the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Sidious, Sidious also begs Anakin to learn from him by becoming his apprentice and more or less take “a leap of faith”, saving Padme that is. Anakin is misguided and confused, so he decides that the council will do something. High Masters of the Council decide to arrest Sidious and end this war once and for all. Unfortunately it’s not all over…Anakin is now faced with a decision, Join the Sith Lord and hope for the best for Padme or let the Council “arrest” him and watch Padme slowly suffer during childbirth. As you can guess Annie surrenders to the Dark Side of the Force and the rest as they say is History…
Let me start by saying this movie is definitely the highlight of Star Wars franchise. This was undoubtedly the movie every dork, geek and wanna-be has been waiting for. Darth Sidious is finally born and taking the post as the new Dark Lord.
I mean did you see his lightning –like powers? WOW, and not only is the cinematography outstandingly breathtaking but it puts the core in hardcore.
This is a decent film; it’s not perfect, but it’s a good entertaining display, which has its moments. The bad news is that it’s still plagued with crappy script and some seriously stiff acting moments. It’s interesting when considering something as huge as this current prequel trilogy, to compare it to say the Matrix trilogy or the Lord of the Rings films.
I'll start with what I liked so this doesn't turn into a complete Star Wars bashing. First and center Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi. Just iconic all the way around. And he truly looks like he'll be the great old Obi-Wan in the years to come. He gets some really great scenes and McGregor delivers perfectly.
Also excellent was Yoda, but he's one of my favorite characters ever so I'm biased, but still, I really liked him all the time, and specially during the final scenes when he comes to the decision that the remaining Jedi's should hide and at the same time hide and protect Luke and Leia.
What I didn't like? Lots of things, starting by Natalie Portman as Senator Padme Amidala, this woman will be the cause of me having a heart attack one day. Another useless character with almost nothing to do but cry and complain and copy Leia's hair. And the character is really different from the previous prequels, so I'm blaming Lucas and his writing for this.
And don’t get me started on the bitter-“sweet” ending, I mean is Lucas’s intentions to give me a heart attack as well as Portman, I mean when an artist creates a Masterpiece he adores every little bit of it, but no Lucas had to crush this one boy’s dream.
I think altogether I rate this movie a despicable 4/10, my judgement may be critical but only so because of some appalling scripts.
But here’s what I think could’ve happened, but never will…
Now, even though this meant he had to change scripts so be it, this was the last of the legendary saga and he had to end it by poor Anakin, or shall I say Darth Vader, being be-handed. Although it shows him re-created into the black darkness, the true Darth Vader, it didn’t show him in action at all, which in my honest opinion would have literally gob-smacked the audience.
I think if George Lucas thought about it, it would have left my DVD player unharmed by any bat of any kind. I am so disappointed in Star Wars 3:Revenge Of The Sith, maybe I was looking for perfection, since I expected more from Star Wars 1 & 2.
Should the prequels never have been made? Sometimes I think so, but no, they're necessary because of the importance of the originals and the greatness of Darth Vader. Should Lucas make sequels to the originals now? Let's hope he keeps his word and never makes them. May the Force be with him on that, and with us, as we try to continue our lives knowing that there wont be new Star Wars movies anymore.
>Past light - I am legend is better the second time
you watch it, trust me) but your right about the
soundtrack, it IS awesome)
>Kaliosis - Agree)
Apoci: you really expect someone to read it? :D thats why tere should be the rating at the end... like 8/10 or so... :)
Mac Crash, well that most depends on the taste, i prefered 28 days later because it looks more realistic, atleast from my perspective. And those two movies are completely different even if the idea is the same.
GEEK ALERT!
Apoci, let me get this straight. Are you 11 years old? Star Wars 5/10.
PROS
-cinematography at that time was "off da hook"
They moved the camera past a 3 metre model of a Star Destroyer, instead of viceversa. It was the intergalactic storyline with reverend Jedi's, Siths and aliens in the middle of a cold war space race that was 'off da hook'.
CONS
-george whatever his name was won't be remaking the golden oldies so it means that we are stuck with the new and old(
Good. They did remaster the 'Oldies' and it was dreadful to watch. George Lukus brought about the new less imaginative The Phantom Menace etc versions of the saga with characters such as Ja Ja Binks and politics... Needs put in a retirement home and drugged before he does anymore damage.
Past Light,
PROS
- The main idea of "infected" roaming UK was shown in quite a unique way.
Yep, better then I am Leg End. Or lazy zombies.
Technically the people in 28 days later are infected with a rage virus. The idea behind the film was the spread of mad cow disease and foot-and-mouth disease in the UK. When Mad Cow gets in humans, they call it CJD.
Check out the symptoms:
- Changes in gait (walking)
- Hallucinations
- Lack of coordination (for example, stumbling and falling)
- Muscle twitching
- Reddening eyes
- Myoclonic jerks or seizures
- Rapidly developing delirium or dementia
Rare and unlikely to happen, or could it evolve into a Rage virus? There's one chemical in the brain (serotonin) which when taken out of lab rats had the effect of them all turning on each other and attacking until seperated. All it would take is a disease that destroys the brain's ability to absorb that one chemical and suddenly it's a real-world 28 Days Later. Madder Cow disease :)
So Past light, we should probably avoid spending time unconscious in a hospital bed. :)
Wall-E 8/10.
Kid's film that should of been avertised more for adults. Almost entirely a silent film in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic (sort of) environment. It also has some slapstick comedy which is great.
pulled those symptoms of a website that goes abit more into zombie related diseases. Great film though. 28 Weeks later... wasn't as good IMHO. Even less infected then 28 DL and too slow. Though i enjoyed it as it went in the 28 DL later world again.
28 Weeks Later 6/10
GEEK ALERT!
Apoci, let me get this straight. Are you 11 years old? Star Wars 5/10.
No.
Next item on the Agenda:

Football factory: 4/10
Green Street: 9/10
Dead Set
I know this is kind of old news now, and this isn't a movie, but Dead Set surely did, rock the casbah.
If your a Big Brother fan then this gruesome series will entertain your needs and believe me it entertained mine, to be quite frank I expected so much and to be honest I got more than I asked for.
Why?
Just watch it.
What makes is good is that the characters are amazing and the storyline is completely flawless and with it’s gruesome originality, it was rather a shame to see the series come to such a premature and finalized ending, however unfortunately predictable of the genre this was going to be. Let’s face it, the whole incurable break out that threatens to wipe man kind completely off the map is pretty synonymous with all Zombie films and is almost always an integral part of their narratives.
So to sum up the most spectacular hit-series I'd ever seen, I'd give it a Fantastic 10.
