Hello dear guild players of New Capital City :)
I was talking to a mate of mine a bit ago and we discussed about being in a guild and this conversation made me think about what motivation brings people to join a guild.
So I would be happy to hear from people of each guild we have here in our beloved town, why they have choosen the guild their are in :)

P.S. I hope we are adult enough to not flame, spam, flood here because some feel attacked from it.This post is really neutral and is not offending anyone :)

Well im not in any guild in combats but i was in other games. Some people might join guilds because there friends are in it or just because its the #1 guild. There is also another one i can think off, some players might want to join a "dark" guild because they could become vampires   because they like doing the same thing that was done to them when they were low levels. What i meen is its maybe about power also...

friends are an important part of life....especially if you can stand side by side on the battlefield=)

Many people here say now that friends are importand in a guild.What about people that you don`t like which might be in your guild?
Would that make you not join?

If we join a guild it means we join the whole guild, not the guild part where your friends are.
Sometimes you don't like people there. But if you don't like- none asked you to join. It was up to your own voluntare willing.
Solving the conflicts and misunderstundings would be the best thing you could do with members from your guild who you don't like.
And if you really understand that you are part of a single whole, then it affects the quality of your work and leisure time you spend here.
The answer depends on: What would you and the person who you don't like do to make yourselves feel good in that company, and mostly other members will help in such situations.
Of course there are other ways: Spit all your agression on the person who you don't like, ignore him/her, or face the fact there will always be someone you just can't get on.

There is realy no main reason to not join a guild. For my own personal reason alll the guilds are great, just there are some that are better then the others.

Dude, unfortunately there is no other way to make you stop talking bullsh** to get at least SOME attention from anyone. I still remember you from my time in the order, always complaining, always whining and blabbering ... And the worst part: Most of your gibberish is just that ... gibberish ... not an English which is easy to understand.
Most of the time I hardly understand what exactly you want. But things like "Hate you :lady:" are pretty obvious.

I suggest a deal: I will not silence you anymore, I will use bloody attacks on you instead :ok:

And regarding the topic:
I decided to join rMercs because I wanted to ba part of the latest innovation here in NewCap, wanted to help building up something new here. And another thing convinced me to join: I saw that many good ppl already joined in and I see that more good ppl are going to follow :)

to the topic:

after being dark/freelancer and after unsucessfull atempt to create own neutral guild, the order of light was the next step on the way... tryin to help noobies stay here, to increase population of nc, keep the order in chat/forum and dreaming of angels attention, hand by hand with friends in OoL, ive applied for :pal: and been chosen...
being in a guild means "support" and "safety" to me...being a part of something....+ be able to keep chat and forum clean.....just like the saying, i remember from someone's info, long time ago....."Its nice to be important, but its important to be nice"

Most people join a guild,for the things that guild can do for them,and not because they want to help the guild itself.They go for safety,power and respect(based on the guildsign and not their personality).If u don't believe me,check how many members of any guild have really done something for the guild(except fighting like zombies),for the city.And now paladins will say - hell,i moderate the chat,help newbies,blah-blah-blah,like that's a hard thing :laugh: There r very few,who really did something that counts,and that concerns especially paladins).The guild is firstly a structure,then a family and a circle of friends.If u join the guild,coz u have mates u could drink beer with and have fun,i pitty that guild ;) Each member should give their best,to make this structure work better and progress,evolve...this not only brings benefit to the guild,but also personal satisfaction and personality developement(things that help u in real life,even if u don't notice it).
At my time,i applied to GODS,because it was/is the most important guild of this city...the guild that has done some things for the city,that none of the other guilds have.Best newsline - a guide for newbs and population of NC,sheriffs against jackals and so on.At that time,it was much harder to get into a guild and i've seen that only by working,u can achieve something.I didn't have friends when i joined,but later on it gave me more than i have expected,which i'll be always grateful for.
