why would this rule be made if most people in nc like it and only a few dislike it?
it would be bether to make a new fight rule called wooden so no jackals come then to bann it..
for the lower lvls there simply arent enough different weapons and armor yet to choose from..
yeah they xist but arent for sale +-
either make those easyer sale or dont make this rule becouse otherwise lvls below 7 will hate the game and stop playing..

Sure.. more fun for u, at lvl 7.. for a lvl 2 full means a sword and a shield :)) and no maneuvres... few dodge and crit rates.. but it's full isn't it?... If SOMEONE does not like wooden fights.. no problem.. just do not join wooden fights.. but if that some1 is a paladin that does not mean that all of us have to agree and do the same...

I believe that this rule is absurd and it will only bring harm to our fair city. I am a veteran player of sorts and believe that all the chars in NewCapital may choose what to fight, when to fight and with whom to fight. This law is not only a direct insult to the FC world, but also in real life. This is a human rights violation and should be sanctioned. This law should not reach the FC.

maybe its an idea to then make a sub rule (yust like fist) thats called wooden..
only allow cruches and wood club and the small shield..
then there are no jackals there..
cos for the lower lvls 1 jackal is enough to ruine the game (also for higher lvls but they got enough money to call a merc so no problem...)

I agree with this Law. Probably one of the best laws that exists :)  If people still want to fight wood then let them not cry when they see a jackal, because many jackals do this as everyone is fighing wood, I'm not sayin I like jackals but.......................................... BURN THE WOOD! And we'll have a lot less jackalin :)

but the big problem is there aint enough kinds of weapons for sale to play full to its fullest fun..
if your a dagger fighter you gotta wait to lvl 6 and you got choise of 1 and 7 so you can choose for fear..
maybe it would be nice if this was also more choise..
but this way its yust stick to the basics and you can play and you cant choose your own tactics.. thatswhy i dislike it most..

I played a while.. and really.. I think never ever till 2004 till present, i saw a law changed because us, "the people" said so... Words in the wind... but maybe some ppl will realise not to propose and same time make rulz like that

crappy law :lol: so already we don't have a lot of players and now we will lose more of them....let guys play with wood and punish jackals...thats all :wink:

Ppl... Don't get things wrong just because someone like to cry, suffers for less attention, and he try to take it by discussing all everywhere.

Wooden fights will be allowed!!!
The only thing changed is that there will not be allowed fights 1 vs 99 in wooden, beeing considered as an easy exp for low levels => so it could be considered as a staged fight.
So you're free to make a wooden group +- ur lvl, wooden chaotic and so on.

and why dont they make a wood side rule so jackals are out of the question?
if all people like woods that would be a important step maybe? making wood a rule yust like fist and weapon?

what he says does make sence i must say..
and i do agree its alot free exp for low lvls..
but theres 1 thing that i dislike..
why not do something against the jackals in chaotic woods?
low lvls cant have them becouse of the jackals..
becouse lvl 7 + are most times rich enough to call merc but a lvl 5 cant pay a merc to save him as he doesnt have enough money..
so its a 2 side story...
