You can say that there were plenty of these topics and that I should stop crying and just leave with it... I've tried to do that, believe me. This "mage fashion" makes no sence in picking up an ordinary weapone and going in a fight without thinking: "I hope they won't fry me within the first 50 seconds of the fight... ))="
Why won't I do as the others do? Why don't I buy myself a staff and go "zap" other "intellectual" mages? Becouse it's pure stupidity... In a month our beloved city won't have any normal warriors. Swords, axes and clubs will be covered not in blood, but in dust...

Now about the ToD... Is it possible to win there? Yes... Unless some mage finds a staff and makes an icycle from you.

I'm not asking to get rid of those damned staves, I just ask for a way to be able to fight against a heavily armoured mage and WIN. (Not allways, but to have a normal chance of winning)

But noone will understand this topic... People are selfish, greedy and most of all dumb!
For most of the people, game is just "Clicking on somebody's name to cast a spell..." Stupidity - only this word is suitable to describe everything what happens in this game. I heard people saying: "I became a mage, 'cause everybody were mages!" - Lame lies! Why can't people just admit it! Or another thing, people that were warriors, fighters just selled their main weapons, shields and buyed staffs! Why? Because this is the last chance to survive int this "world"! Weak people, weak minds... Easy exp and money is the main factor for this game! And you know what? I can tell you for sure, this game won't last as long as you wished...

i totally agree with u guys... i wanned to be a warrior and i was for quite a while.  but today is a "d-day" ... after the this fight:

(7th level had almost all items of the lower lvls and just couple dark steel items)

i've decided: "If the game wants me to be a mage i will be the mage". I wanna reach 8th level, i don't wanna be a bridge for 7lvl mages to reach 8th level.

i don't have  money to buy fancy artifacts
i don't see the possibility of killing the mage by ususal means
i don't wanna be fried without having a chance to even make a single hit
i give up...

Hmmm... Dark Steel is supposed to be the perfect option. I do not fear Golden set and Fear. But when I'm against a mage I make damage like... Umm 15-30! Nice, eh? Especialy when in reply I get 50-65.

I think that this disbalance is because 95% of players are mages... If there were 30% mages 30% crit-warriors and 30% dodge-warriors it would be less noticeable! :( then there could be some tactic. :(
