MuDvAyNe (already mentioned, but I just have to mention them again, because their new "Lost and Found" album is just awesome)
System of a Down (well, I've always listened to them, just a little more now because of the new "Mezmerize" album)
Nine Inch Nails (or Trent Reznor, it's a one-man-band, just came out with a brand new album "With Teeth")
Type O Negative
Audioslave (also coming out with a new album, I listen to them because of my neverending respect for Rage Against the Machine)
In Flames (song "The Quiet Place" is beyond awesome)
Helmet
Trivium (I kinda accidentally ran across them, and they are a very promissing metal band)
